Now you need to provide purpose code for your account.

As per Indian regulations, you must add purpose code for withdrawing payments to your bank account from your PayPal account.

Purpose code indicates the type or nature of business for which you are receiving payments to your PayPal account. It simply helps RBI to track the nature and type of transaction that’s going on.

To add purpose code, click on start in front of Add Purpose Code. If you are receiving payment for affiliate commissions or advertising, select “Advertising and Market Research” or select whatever you find appropriate.

Tried already but nothing seems to be working...thanks anyway

Hey there is some error and while I fill in my personal details and click says access denied on this server..I have tried several times yet the problem persists. So I tried on a different browser and I get stuck for some zip code which I don't know anything about.please help

    Prince Sumberia

    Hi @Sudipta

Try clearing your browser history and cache. Try again by flushing the DNS servers. To clear DNS servers run cmd as admin as type ipconfig /flushdns and click enter. Then try again to see if this fixed the issue.

And for zip code, Zip code is also called postal code/pin code consisting of digits. For eg Pincode of Gandhinagar, Jammu is 180004. You can Google for your location Pincode or zip code

If it still have any issues please let me know.

I have my account created, but I do not have a card to verify it. Would buying a VCC from Auction Essistance be a good idea?

    Prince Sumberia

Honestly, I haven't used Auction Essistance. But after doing some research, I think Auction Essistance is quite expensive.

The first recommendation would be virtual credit card provided by Indian banks. Check if your bank offers. And if it doesn't then a better alternative to Auction Essistance is Entropay Virtual Visa Card.

    Update: Please check my artcile:

Hey can I link my SBI bank account after creating PayPal for receiving money from international sources?? Or should it be done only using one of the banks mentioned above?!! Please clarify

    Prince Sumberia

You can link any bank for receiving payment to your PayPal account.
As far as the list of bank you are taking about, these bank's Debit card can be linked to paypal account for making payments. Only debit card of above mentioned bank supports PayPal.

I hope I have answered your query.

I'm suffering to no end because of this. I receive a lot of payment from my foreign clients and I'm having to rely on my friend for this. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
